  Our ministries are an important and integral part of our church community. Whether you are a student, single or married there is a ministry designed for you. Please read about our ministries and consider becoming an active member of our community of faith.

 Ministries of Administration

Associate Ministers- These are men and women who are called by God to preach the Gospel. They are licensed by the church and assist the pastor in serving from the pulpit 

Deacons Ministry- These are men and women who have exhibited the requirements listed in Acts 6:1-4 to assist the Pastor in giving care to the membership, and in administering Baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion)

Trustee Ministry- These are members who are selected by the church to care for the maintenance and upkeep of church properties and to tend to the churches financial obligations.

Mother’s Ministry- These are women, appointed by the Senior pastor, who are mature in their faith to the extent that they serve as a Godly example to young women, young mothers, and to the congregation at large.

Ministry Teams- Each member of the church is assigned to a team lead by a deacon and associate ministers to assist members integration into the congregation and to provide spiritual support. You will be assigned to a ministry team after you complete new members class, are baptized and/or receive the “right-hand-of-fellowship.”

Pastor’s Aide Ministries- These members work to support the common needs of the pastor as the occasion arises.

Ministries for Christian Education

Sunday School- The entire church is invited to attend our Sunday Morning Bible discussion lead by lay members of the Church. Attending Sunday School is an excellent way for new members to grown in the knowledge of God’s Word! This begins at 9:30 A.M every Sunday morning.

Bible Study & Prayer- The entire church is invited to attend our weekly Bible Study, which is held every Wednesday night at 7:00 P.M. This class is taught by our pastor. This is an excellent time to ask questions and raise concerns as we seek to understand God’s Word and apply it to our daily living. Following Bible Study, the congregation gathers at the altar for community prayer.

Children’s Church - So that our children (ages 5-12) are engaged with the Word of God on their level of understanding, the associate ministers conduct Bible messages for them during Sunday morning worship.

Vacation Bible School (VBS) - Every summer the congregation gathers for a week of food, fellowship, arts & crafts, and to study the Word of God. This is an event you do not want to miss. Continue to follow the website and church bulletin for the VBS schedule.

Workshops & Seminars- As the occasion arises we gather to discuss specific topics to help us to function as Christians and church members. Past topics have included Christian Etiquette and the Indispensable Qualities of Leadership.

 Ministries of Wholeness

Missionary Circle- these members gather to seek ways to help the less fortunate in the community through volunteering and donation.

Scholarship Ministry- These members work to provide funds to purchase books and necessities for our members who are attending college or attaining post high school certification.

Women's Ministry- This group was formed to address the spiritual needs that are unique to women as they grow in Christ. They have Bible discussions and hold annual events.

Men’s Ministry- This group was formed to address the spiritual needs that are unique to men as they grow in Christ. They have Bible discussions and hold annual events.

Youth Ministry- This group was formed to address the spiritual needs that are unique to adolescents and teens as they grow in Christ. They have Bible discussions and hold annual events.

Food Pantry- The members who serve in the food pantry make sure that the church cupboards are stocked in case emergency or serious need where families and the less fortunate become need of food.

Medical Ministry- This group consist of members who have medical training through their occupations, who volunteer their services in the case of an medical emergency during worship services and church events.

Ministries of Worship & Arts

Music Ministry- These members serve each Sunday to lead the congregation into worship and to inspire an atmosphere of praise in honor to God as we prepare to hear a message from the Lord. Our Music Ministry consists of The Mass Choir (1st Sundays), The Hall Celestials (2nd Sundays), The Levites (Men’s Choir (3rd Sundays), The Children’s Choir (4th Sundays), The Young Adult Choir (5th Sundays), the Praise Team (Each Sunday at the opening of service)

Ushers’ Ministry- these members help to keep order and serve the needs of the congregation during the worship services.

Greeters’ Ministry- These members welcome first time visitors to our worship services and assist them in filling out their visitor’s cards

Dance Ministry- These members use the gift of dance to lead the congregation in worship.
